Healing Smoking Ceremony and Beach Labyrinth
What an incredibly healing and transformative day!
Beginning with the wise words of Charmaine Clarke, Gunditjmara Elder, welcoming us on Country with a Smoking Ceremony. Charmaine’s words set an intention of unity, of coming together in peace with awareness that we are all connected – to come together to care for our earth with greater respect and care for each other.
Together we walked the labyrinth, a path of healing, insight, gratitude, giving and receiving.
Thank you to each and every person who participated and for those too who were shared of your own personal insights and experiences as we came together in a sharing circle to complete.
When we bring our presence and attention and our love in moments such as these, that healing, transformation and growth do happen, for ourselves and those around us. We create a morphogenic field that transforms our world.
Many people are already asking about our next Labyrinth event and we are right now in planning for future dates.
Special thanks to Peta of Great Ocean Healing Centre who co-facilitated with us and Charmaine Clarke. We look forward to co-creating more healing events together.
The Healing Smoking Ceremony and Beach Labyrinth was held on Gunditjamara Country at Stingray Bay, Warrnambool on Sunday 9th February.
We acknowledge the Gunditjmara People, Elders past, present, future and continuing, Indigenous people present at these events, the traditional custodians on the lands in which this event took place . We acknowledging these lands and sovereignty were never ceded and are grateful for this opportunity to come together for peace, unity and healing.
Soul Mandala
Connection to land
Spirits they listen
Feet in the sand
Sacred waters glisten
Smoke to cleanse
Clearing intention
Third eye lens
Mother of invention
Mandala of Space
Layers they fade
Lines to trace
Depths to wade
All is illusion
Power to create
Emotional instrusion
Shifting sands; balanced state
