Claire Bridge, Founder - Soul Mandala

Having worked in many occupations throughout an adventurous and eclectic career ranging from Sign Language Interpreter to Martial Arts Instructor, from Life Coach and Counsellor, to Illustrator and Fine Art Paintings Conservator to Artist and Teacher, Claire Bridge has always valued her Inner Vision and followed the whispers and call of her Soul. She has been fortunate to have studied and received numerous graduate and post graduate qualifications from Monash University, RMIT, Barton College, Melbourne Polytechnic, La Trobe University and the University of Melbourne.

Claire passionately believes in the intrinsic creativity of each person and is committed to bringing to life the innate wisdom, artistry and vision of each individual for greater wholeness, peace and joy. Her name means, “Bridge of Light” and Claire has taken on this personal calling to be a facilitator and participant in the evolution of consciousness and a bridge between the realms of Soul and Matter.

Claire’s background in Transpersonal and Emotional Release Counselling and Gestalt methods gives her a strong foundation to her approach to Soul Mandala classes and workshops. Her love of symbols, myth and archetypes feed a rich understanding of mandala work. As a Life Coach, trained by David Rock of the NeuroLeadership Institute and Results Coaching Systems, Claire’s approach is informed by neuroscience and the neuropsychology of Dr Dan Siegel, along with more recent developments in mindfulness and relational attunement.

As a Reiki Practitioner of more than 25 years and a student of Reiki Master Denise Crundall of the lineage of Dr. Mikao Usui (1865-1926), the Founder of Usui Reiki, Claire is constantly amazed with our capacity for healing and natural movement toward wholeness. She has been fortunate to study with Khadro-la, the State Oracle of Tibet, Oracle of the Dalai Lama, and is dedicated to a practice of Mindful meditation.

Her experiences as a Black Belt Martial Artist, 8 Times National Champion, Instructor, former Martial Arts School co-owner and a Coach of World Champions have given Claire a profound insight into the value of courage and compassion, the willingness to show up, take risks and to fail in order to grow and succeed in becoming more of who you really are in the present moment.

A professional artist in her own right, exhibiting throughout Australia and internationally, Claire knows the creative process intimately. Her experience as a teacher and facilitator allows Claire to confidently guide others through this process. She is recognized as an advocate for artists, was Visual Arts Advisor to the New York based, Dame Joan Sutherland Fund for seven years and is Founder of Art World Women, a platform that addresses gender inequality and showcases the work and stories of women in the arts.

Claire Bridge is currently serving as Board Member of Sandbox Studios, is a member of NAVA, the National Association of Visual Artists and member of the C G Jung Society of Melbourne. She is currently studying a Masters of Contemporary Art at VCA, Victorian College of the Arts on a scholarship awarded by the University of Melbourne.
